NI-42 is a biased potent small molecule inhibitor of the bromodomain of the BRPF (bromodomain and PHD finger-containing) proteins, which are scaffolding proteins that assemble histone acetyltransferase (HAT) complexes of the MYST transcriptional coactivator family. NI-42 has an IC50 value of of 7.9 nM and is suitable for cellular and in vivo studies.
