TT01001 is potent, orally available the mitochondrial outer membrane protein mitoNEET ligands that binds to mitoNEET without PPARγ activation. TT01001 improves hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, and glucose intolerance in mice models of diabetes II. TT01001 exerts anti-diabetic effects without the pioglitazone associated weight gain.
