Application
Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is an 84 amino acid hormone involved in calcium regulation, increases calcium levels in blood, in counteraction to calcitonin. PTH also regulates serum phosphate levels and vitamin D biosynthesis. PTH (39-84) and (53-84) are C-terminal peptides of PTH used to resolve PTH activity.
