General description
Gluconolactone is a non-toxic component of the skin. It has anti-oxidant and free radical scavenging effects. Gluconolactone has antiaging and skin-firming properties. It acts as a?-glucosidase inhibitor. Gluconolactone stimulates cellulase gene expression.
