Application
Phosphoglycomutase is used to interconvert glucose 1-phosphate to glucose 6-phosphate. It is used to study glycogenesis and phosphoglycomutase deficiency in humans. Product 3397 has been used in phosphoglucomutase assays to study metabolic regulation.
Phosphoglucomutase exchanges a phosphoryl group with the substrate.
