Application

6-Bromo-2-naphthyl ?-D-glucopyranoside may be used as a substrate for ?-glycosidases in fast blue BB assay. It is also suitable for use with fast blue BB reagent in native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) for ?-glycosidases activity staining.

6-Bromo-2-naphthyl ?-D-glucopyranoside serves as a substrate for ?-glycosidases. When hydrolyzed it forms an insoluble colored product.
