4-Methylumbelliferyl beta-D-lactopyranoside, beta-galactosidase substrate
Application
4-Methylumbelliferyl ?-D-lactopyranoside has been used as a chromophoric substrate for cellobiohydrolase I (CBHI) in T. reesei. It has also been used as a substrate for cellobiohydrolase I (Cel7A), endoglucanase I (Cel7B) and ?-glucosidase from fermented samples in enzymatic assay.
Biochem/physiol Actions
4-Methylumbelliferyl ?-D-lactopyranoside is a fluorescence compound hydrolyzed by the enzyme ?-glucosidase (?G) and CBH1
