Biochem/physiol Actions


4-Hydroxybenzhydrazide (PAHBAH), is used for assaying ?-amylase and glucoamylase activities. The assay based on PAHBAH measures non-specifically the free reducing sugar groups present in samples at 415nm colorimetrically.
