pUC18 DNAHaeIII Digest has been used as a DNA marker to compare the internal control developed for the competitive polymerase chain reaction (PCR) for the detection of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens in the rumen.

Sigma’;s pUC18 DNA Hae III Digest is provided in a solution of 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), with 1.0 mM EDTA.

General description

Sigma’;s pUC18 DNA Hae III Digest contains 11 fragments from 11 - 587 bp. About three ul of the ladder should be diluted in gel loading buffer and then loaded in a single lane on an agarose or polyacrylamide gel.

Other Notes

For optimal resolution, the recommended agarose gel concentration is 2.5%.
