Amersham Shrimp Alkaline Phosphatase, 500 units
Alkaline phosphatase is suitable for dephosphorylation of 5' and 3'-overhangs, recessed ends, blunt ends, and single nucleotides. Following incubation, alkaline phosphatase can be easily inactivated by heating.
- Bacterial alkaline phosphatase recombinantly expressed in E. coli
- Active in PCR and restriction endonuclease buffers
- Inactivated by heating at 75°C for 5 minutes
- Use together with Exonuclease I for cleaning up PCR reactions prior to downstream application such as DNA sequencing
