These frames of 96 well semi-skirted PCR plates are moulded from rigid polycarbonate for use with polypropylene removable 8 well PCR tube strips. The removable 8 well PCR tube strips are inserted into the frames to form a complete plate, part plate, or individual strip with an easy-to-handle frame. As the removable PCR tube strips are interchangeable with the frames, the frames themselves are re-usable; simply purchase more removable PCR tube strips to use. The frames can be purchased separately, or pre-loaded with removable 8 well PCR tube strips.

Free from DNase, RNase, human genomic DNA, and endotoxin/pyrogen

Rigid polycarbonate frames, which reduce thermal expansion and sample evaporation during PCR, leading to improved consistency in PCR results

Alphanumeric grid reference to aid well and sample identification

Compatible with standard multichannel pipettes

The removable 8 well PCR tube strips have ultra-smooth, uniform, thin-walled polypropylene tubes for optimum PCR and real-time (RT-qPCR) results, a low profile, 0.1mL (100µL) working volume, with a 0.2mL (200µL) total well capacity when used with sealing options, and raised well rims to prevent cross contamination and facilitate effective sealing for reduced evaporation

Frames can be purchased on their own (PCR1080) or pre-loaded with removable 8 well PCR tube strips in either white (PCR1072) or clear (PCR1074)
