Whatman PTFE Membrane Circle WTP Range, 1 um pore size, 47 mm
Whatman PTFE membranes are hydrophobic, chemically inert and suitable for applications involving aggressive organic solvents, strong acids, and alkalis. The membrane is laminated onto a nonwoven polypropylene support web for improved strength and handling and can be used at temperatures up to 120°C.
Applications include preparing samples for HPLC analysis, air and gas sterilisation in fermentation vessels, and filtrate tanks and the clarification of aggressive liquids.
