Whatman mixed cellulose ester membranes are 47mm in diameter, available as sterile or none sterile versions, 0.2 or 0.45µm pore sizes and offer a variety of gridded formats for microbial colony quantification. Composed of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate, they offer a high degree of internal surface area for greater product adsorption. Mixed cellulose ester membranes are biologically inert and are a popular membrane filter choice in analytical and research applications.
