OptiClear is the original, award winning, nontoxic, non-flammable, biodegradable solvent from National Diagnostics. OptiClear is intended for the removal of wax, pitch, flux, grease, resin and solvent soluble resists from optical and electronic components of glass, ceramic, or metal.

May be substituted directly for toluene, xylene or chlorinated hydrocarbons, such as trichloroethylene (TCE), in batch-type or ultrasonic cleaners with no alteration in protocol
Removes wax adhered to lenses, optical components, polished wafers or printed circuit boards
High solvency power, yet it will not affect metal or metal alloy
Neutral pH, so it will not stain glass
Water content less than 50ppm
Miscible in all proportions with acetone, ethanol, and isopropanol, any of which may be used as a post wash
Non-toxic
Electro-optical grade
Biodegradable
Non-ozone depleting

Method of use:

Use undiluted
Set up an OptiClear bath at room temperature, soak components for 15 minutes to 1 hour
For lighter cleaning applications, OptiClear can be used as a spray
Remove components from bath and allow OptiClear to evaporate
If excessive residue remains, rinse in OptiClear R (NAT1466, NAT1468, NAT1464)
