The new 5.0mL Eppendorf Tube® is ideal for medium volume samples where you want to avoid larger conical screw cap tubes and complements the existing 5.0mL snap cap tubes. This tube variant will mainly address laboratory requirements in which a screw cap sealing is beneficial for the application or preferred by users such as long term storage, incubations at high temperatures and transport.
