IL-36 is implicated in mucosal immunity, such as lung anti-bacterial responses. Interleukin-36 ? (IL36G) participates in inflammation response and differentiation. Overexpression of IL36G has been observed in psoriasis patients. Thus, down regulation IL36G can be considered as an effective method to treat psoriasis.

General description

The IL36G ELISA kit provides for the Quantitative measurement of IL-36 gamma in Cell Culture Supernatants, Plasma and Serum.Interleukin-36 gamma (IL36G), also known as IL-1F9, is a member of interleukin (IL)-1-like proinflammatory cytokine family. It is encoded by the gene mapped to human chromosome 2q12-q21. IL36G is abundantly expressed in epithelial tissues and numerous myeloid-derived cell types.
