Lewis-b tetrasaccharide has been used to treat the P protein for complex crystal growth.
Biochem/physiol Actions
The Lewis b (Leb) antigen reappearance is an excellent tumor marker for discriminating between malignant and benign tumors, and it can also be used in many cases of colon cancer.
General description
The Lewis b (Leb) antigens are widely expressed in the proximal colon. During fetal development, Leb antigens are found throughout the colon, but after birth, they gradually diminish in the distal colon.
