UNC2170 is an inhibitor of DNA damage response protein 53BP1, which recognizes dimthyl lysine residues on lysine 20 on histone H4 that is involved in double-strand DNA breaks. 17-fold selectivity for 53BP1 as compared to other methyl-lysine (Kme) binding proteins tested.
