General description
Dax-1 is an orphan nuclear receptor and is required for the normal development of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal-gonadal axis formation. Defects in Dax-1 are the cause of X-linked adrenal hypoplasia congenital (XL-AHC); also known as X-linked Addison disease (AHX). Dax-1 also has a role in the development of the embryo and in the maintenance of embryonic stem cell pluripotency by acting as a negative regulator of Oct3/4 in ES cells.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the Region of Ligand binding of Human Dax1.
