Enhance growth of cells with U.S. sourced Cytiva HyClone™ CharacteriSed Embryonic Stem (ES) Cell Screened Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS), filtered through serial 100nm pore size rated filters and tested for endotoxin, hemoglobin, and extensive biochemical profile assays. HyClone™ Characterized ES (Murine) Screened FBS minimizes the need for pre-screening serum, saving both time and money, while providing the assurance that the serum used has been screened by experienced ES cell culturists. The screening includes plating efficiency, colony morphology, and toxicity tests. Produced using true pool processing, which minimises bottle-to-bottle variability. This FBS product is filtered through three sequential 100nm (0.1µm) pore size rated filters. Each lot of FBS is subjected to virus panel testing according to 9 CFR 113.53. HyClone™ Characterised FBS is assayed for many components, including gamma globulin, glucose, and IgG.
