The 24-well and 96-well Krystal plates are optimised for direct fluorescence and luminescence detection where samples are typically large. The unique 24-Well Krystal plate offers twenty four high volume (3.1ml working volume) wells in the convenient footprint of a standard 96-well plate, the Krystal 24 provides a large surface area per well enabling efficient cell growth. For higher throughput applications, the 96-well Krystal microplate plate (350µl working volume) options are available. The 96-Well Krystal 2000 microplates share the same features as the 24-Well Krystal and the 96-Well Krystal range, but are designed with raised rims and lowered bottom rim to stop lateral light piping. The special design of the plate eliminates well-to-well light crosstalk inherent with other clear-bottomed microplate design, and enables unmatched accuracy and reproducibility of photometric readings.
