S29434 is a cell and blood-rain barrier penetrant, potent and selective inhibitor of quinone reductase 2 (QR2, NQO2) that inhibits production of ROS by QR2 in cells. S29434 triggers autophagy in human HepG2 cells. S29434 enhances exploring time of the unfamiliar object in mice memory test.
