Protect your lab with patented SmartPresence™ and SmartLink™ technologies. These exclusive features automatically shut off the heater if no one is detected after a user set ″time out″ period has passed.

An industry-leading early detection system that uses two independent safety controls to continuously monitor the electronics and shut off heating before an over temperature condition occurs.

Precise stirring from 60 to 1600 rpm is made possible by the design of a powerful motor, strong magnet and software controlled ramp rate, ensuring secure magnetic coupling for viscous applications.

SmartHeat™ allows you to set the maximum temperature of the unit and SmartRate™ enables fast or slow temperature and speed ramp rates. The programming feature allows storage of 5 multi-step programs.

Includes 20.3cm stainless steel RTD temperature probe.

  • Backlit LCD Display for temperature, speed and time, green indicator lights when unit is heating and stirring, two prominent hot top indicator lights
  • Timer, Stirring from 60 to 1600 rpm, temperature range of ambient +5°C to 500°C (ceramic top) or 380°C (aluminium top), power cord (included), 20.3cm stainless steel RTD temperature probe, 3.8cm PTFE coated stir bar, in-use cover
  • Probe connection, SmartHousing™ stays cool to the touch and is chemical resistant, IP21 Ingress Protection, hardened glass front panel, control knobs, On/Off switch for heater disconnect, built-in support rod holder, easy to clean ceramic or aluminium tops
  • USB port provides flexibility for programming of repeat applications and enhancing safety with SmartLink™ technology; the long range user detection function operated with the Ohaus Bluetooth dongle accessory (sold separately)
  • Hot top indicator lights, audible alarm, SmartHeat™ temperature limiting function, SafetyHeat™ shuts off heater in the event of malfunction, temperature calibration feature for 5 probe & 5 plate setpoints, temperature priority function, SmartRate™ functions
